It's much larger than your typical butter tub. It can easily be used as an ice bucket or champagne chiller. It's very solid and in good condition for its age and use. Measurements: approx 6 3/4" diameter, 8 1/8" handle to handle and 4" tall to top of handle, 3 3/4" tall to to rim. There is one small dent on the bottom. It could use a good polishing.
